From Liberty, “Inspired by a small detail taken from design Weaver’s Wonder, this charming coordinate print captures the elegant simplicity of symmetrical flowers. Inez Mio is a contemporary geometric botanical, highlighting the intricacies found in more elaborate artworks through its tile-inspired layout and delicately striped textures. This print is part of the Craftsmanship narrative of this collection, exploring the creative process from within the Liberty archive, from print impressions and embroidered studies, to ceramics, jewellery, and furniture. Uncover the origins of the designers’ musings through artworks inspired by their sketchbooks and prototypes.

In celebration of 150 years of Liberty, ‘From the Studio’ for AW25 stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of the London design house. Paying homage to the dedicated artisanship that Liberty has been renowned for since the opening of its Regent Street flagship in 1875, this collection explores the creatives who have shaped the story so far. Divided into three distinct narratives – Craftsmanship, Collaboration, and Collectibles – ‘From the Studio’ unveils design sketches and archival studies, shedding light on Liberty ’s innovative artistic practice. This collection reveals the journey from inspiration through drawing, painting, and experimenting with digital artwork to the final printed textile.”
