From Liberty, “First printed by Liberty Fabrics in 1978, Capel was inspired by a vintage style of Liberty floral dating from the 1930s. A small, loosely-drawn design with an all-over repeat, it has been part of the Classics collection since 1993.

This range showcases some of our favourite heritage archival designs on organic Tana Lawn™ cotton, which is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified as well as featuring our Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 rating. Organic Tana is prepared and mercerised through a slightly different process, resulting in a soft, warm hand feel and lustrous colour.”

Care Instructions:

This fabric doesn’t need to be prewashed before working with it. Shrinkage during washing is negligible due to its high quality.

Washing Tana Lawn with cool water with a delicate detergent is recommended. Hanging to dry is preferable but if a dryer must be used, using a low temperature is recommended.

Ironing on a cotton setting with steam is recommended.
