Welcome to the modern take on a basic Grandmothers Flower Garden (GFG) style quilt pattern! This pattern modernizes the GFG pattern with larger hexagon size and straight quilt perimeters. Because the hexagons recommended are 1.5, it comes together quickly for an EPP pattern. (Although, EPP patterns were meant to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace, providing meditative relaxation!)
This is a beginner friendly English Paper Piercing pattern with directions to make a pillow, crib (travel) size, and throw size quilt. Links for helpful tutorials are noted throughout the pattern.
